🩺📉 From Medical Student to Forex Trader: My True Survival Story
How I Turned Pain Into Progress In the Financial Markets

📌 “I didn’t trade to get rich. I traded to survive.”
Hello everyone, my name is [Insert Your Name or Handle], and this is not a fairy tale story about Forex.
This is my truth.
I’m a medical student studying abroad. I came here chasing a dream — but dreams are expensive. Tuition, rent, food, books — everything added pressure to my shoulders. I didn’t want to keep calling my family for help. So I started looking for something that could help me earn while I studied.
That’s when I found Forex.
It looked like a solution.
But instead, it almost broke me.
⸻
💔 The Reality of Starting With Nothing
When I began trading, I didn’t have capital. I didn’t have mentorship.
I had hope — and a free demo account.
But hope doesn’t protect you from:
• ❌ Fake signal providers
• ❌ Scammy brokers
• ❌ Emotional decisions
• ❌ Total account wipeouts
I lost count of how many times I blew my account.
I cried. I got angry. I was frustrated.
Sometimes I had no money left for food, rent, or books.
But I never gave up.
⸻
🎯 The Biggest Mistakes I Made
These are lessons I wish someone told me earlier:
1. 📉 Trading Real Money Without Knowledge
I traded live accounts without understanding proper lot sizes, risk management, or the market itself. That’s gambling, not trading.
2. 📲 Following Random Signal Providers
I trusted people with flashy cars and empty promises. Their signals cost me more than just money — they cost me confidence.
3. 🏦 Choosing the Wrong Broker
Some brokers hit your Stop Loss (SL) even when the market never reached it.
They manipulate spreads. They play dirty. I learned the hard way to always research regulation and reviews.
4. 🧠 Ignoring Trading Psychology
I let emotions ruin good setups. I overtraded. I chased losses. I traded when angry, sad, even when hungry. Bad psychology = bad trading.
⸻
📚 How I Turned the Pain Into Power
After losing again and again, I realized: this is a skill, not a shortcut.
I started:
• Studying price action and market structure
• Backtesting strategies
• Using only 1–2 confluences instead of 10 indicators
• Practicing strict risk management
• Journaling every single trade
• Learning how to think like a trader, not just act like one
Trading is now a discipline, not a dream.
And even though I’m still learning — I’m doing it the right way.
