A personal Equinox
It happened when I balanced my dark and light, when I lied for my love

To those who inquire
Ones like me:
Why karma?
Where is free will?
When does a soul begin,
and how does it ever end?
Someone once told me
that Kali holds the planets,
that she holds your very will.
And we all know, deep down,
whenever there is choice in us,
whenever we’re moved to grow
in any honest direction,
it is because a Mother
is moving through our lives.
Without her,
there would be no free will,
no current in the veins of time,
no breath,
no life.

This writing is a small meditation born out of that space: the balance of the equinox, the pull of big questions, and a deep gratitude for the feminine presence—cosmic and human—that makes growth and freedom possible. Respect to all the women in my life; thank you for bringing the flow and the quiet wisdom into all our lives.
On the spring equinox, light and dark stand in perfect balance. It’s a doorway between seasons, a moment when the world seems to pause between what has been and what is about to become. That pause is also deeply philosophical: it invites us to ask where we stand between fate and freedom, between what we inherit and what we create, between the mystery of our beginning and the uncertainty of our end.
I stand in the doorway, and with love as my compass I move forward into the unknown.
