What Comes Back

We all are made of stardust...

At least that’s what they say.

The trillions of miles,

The billions of years,

Couldn’t keep me away.

🔭

I still see you in your shadows,

When you start to disappear.

I’d swim an endless void,

Eternally,

For the chance to pull you near.

🚀

I still see you in your darkness,

When your light begins to flicker.

The walls you’ve built round,

For me to burn down,

Makes my heart melt for you quicker.

❤️‍🔥

I am your cosmic karma,

Your boomerang,

It’s true,

And when we’re thrown so far apart,

I’ll be coming back to you.

🪃

Our atoms once danced deep in space,

Before life and time began,

And in the end,

I’ll be right here,

My fingers clasped inside your hand.
