I Took the Bullet for Love

With no regrets

I Took the Bullet for Love

I stood at the edge where shadows collide,

Where roses wrapped steel in a deadly bind.

The barrel cold, the petals soft,

A love so fierce, it carried a cost.

You aimed with a gaze both steady and deep,

A moment where love and pain would meet.

No words could stop the storm that came,

No plea could soften love’s sharp flame.

I took the bullet, a vow I swore,

To shield your soul and love you more.

It pierced my chest, but not my trust,

For in the ashes, love adjusts.

The roses bled, their petals torn,

Yet through the pain, a bond reborn.

For love is both the wound and cure,

A fight worth dying for, I’m sure.

So here I stand, with scars to prove,

I took the bullet for love, for you.
