My moon

Poem

By Manuel C.Published about 2 hours ago 1 min read

My Moon

...

I

Why?

Why were you jealous of me?

Now that the black night has drunk you

I am a night without a moon.

You pulled the curtains.

You took my eyes with you, too.

When I looked at you within my gaze

I could not hide.

Now I stutter and crawl like a ribbon

That the wind takes away.

Moon.

Like a refugee, I am in your night.

Where, however, you hid.

Because I see only you.

I am a walker of the sky.

In your presence, I shine.

Only then does joy exist.

Here up high, love speaks.

Only the narrow road can understand.

I

I cry, and I hurt.

I would like to be a bird singing freely.

Upon the branch, like a Picasso painting.

For you to caress me tenderly forever.

With your sweet gaze.

Because in my eyes, the sun does not hide you.

Your eternal Father.

And my holy companion.
