Our Untold Promise
a vow we felt, but never voiced
By Aahna RajeshPublished about 7 hours ago • 1 min read

Do you remember the promise ?
The promise you made to stay...
But yet you left -
Not forever, I guess?
The whispered promise to celebrate?
From which I still bleed -
The tears you said i would never shed...
Did you forget , or lie?
You dissolved into thin air -
Yet somehow became a part of me, like limerence.
I search for you like hidden treasure,
buried where no one else could ever find.
Your presence is like an untold colour,
A quiet qualm when you are not here.
Still, I trust the quiet string of may heart -
That you’ll return to me whole, untouched by fear.
Like a promise that lasts forever.
