One of his most famous quotes.
“We love the things we love for what they are,”
He knew a way with words and how to use them with such grace,
Fire and Ice is one of my all time favorite poems by the poetic legend.
What I’ve tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire 🔥, such an intense and surreal line in his writing.
I can imagine him sitting down on a cold winter night writing this poem with his quilt in hand.
Sipping on tea and his cat by his side. In his robe and cap.
How the words just spill out on to the paper while he’s sitting peacefully in his cabin.
About the Creator
Jennifer lindquist
I’ve always had a interest in poetry since I took a creative writing class in high school. Writing poetry is my safe place where I can either get positive or sometimes negative energy out by my writing of poetry.
