Lead in quietlyโฆ tread softlyโฆ tip toe like a timid mouse
Everything okay?
No answer!
Cringing, I scuttle awayโฆ clearly, things will be no different today!
Echoes of previous stillborn attempts, ring silently as I retreat in defeat ... for now.
