Listen and you will hear it

'Neath the howling winter wind

That ever-fleeting secret

Found just when faith is thinned

-

In the echo of raucous thunder

In the quiet of pelting rain

The moment you start to wonder

If the sun will shine again

-

When dread kills the beating heart

When doubt shatters every bone

When despair works its dire art

When dreams are up and flown

-

It is only then you see it

In the cracking of the frost

In the moment you persist

When everything is lost

-

When the world shows only pain

With which you're forced to cope

The glimmer will remain

Once you reclaim your Hope
