When Good Words Fail: Facing a Friend's Sudden Cancer Diagnosis
What can you say? There are no words that can provide comfort in that moment. I was standing with my dog by the roadside. My good friends had stopped their car and told me they were on their way to a larger nearby city so that my friend could have an urgent CT scan.

Who am I? I am the old Dane. Viking blood in my veins. A blend of Norwegian and Danish mentality. I was very extroverted when I was young, but that has changed; gradually, I prefer observing over direct interaction, typically introverted.
