Introduction I am not sure how I first became Facebook friends with Robin Grotjan, maybe it was through Mafia Wars, an addictive Facebook game that I managed to forget about. She had a joint acvount with her husband Ron who she lost to cancer but I was good friends with both of them, and am still in close contact with Robin.

Me And My Insecurity
Introduction I know I shouldn't feel like this but there is a part of me that wants to destroy everything I have that is good. Every time I get a Top STory on Vocal I am sure that they have just made a mistake and they didn't mean for one of my stories to slip through.

I wanted to write something to put a smile on the face of my Muse and her daughter, sort of drifting through Tolkienaria with magic and fairy lights. I don't know if this will work because I always doubt my ability to write and maybe that combined with the magic that my Muse gives me is the reason why I usually succeed.

The Wonderful Saw Doctors
Introduction I was first made aware of The Saw Doctors when my friend Mike O'Brien (CEO of Opencast and partner in Mog On The Tyne Cat Cafe) told me about the cover of the album "If This Is Rock And Roll, I Want My Old Job Back" which featured their dads on the front cover and the band on the back cover in identical poses. I was in Sunderland and bought a copy from Volume (another sadly missed record shop) and I completely loved it.
