Sam Fender - The Shields Springsteen
What This is About I am sixty five years old and I see so many people going on about how rubbish modern music is. It's true that our musical tastes are formed between the ages of fourteen and sixteen and I still love the music that I was exposed to at that age, though I also picked up a guitar and thought I could maybe make it, fifty years on I am still trying to teach myself though people say that my singing sounds a bit like Neil Young.

Nothing
This is my twelfth dark poem in the series inspired by Dharrsheena. When you are at the bottom it always seems that there is nothing for you, no one for you, nowhere to go, no help to be had and nothing to aim for. I have tried to encapsulate that feeling in these lines.

The Figure Of Eight
The Situation There were tales of serial killers or murderers but there were no real connections apart from there were always eight, but that was it. They occurred in Britain and on the European Mainland and incidents had happened on the North American land mass. But the only thing that connected them was that there were eight corpses sometimes the result of violence, and sometimes the diagnosis took longer to decide. Drugs and poison had sometimes left their trace.

Fear
This is my eleventh dark poem in the series inspired by Dharrsheena. It is said that the only thing we should fear is fear itself. I do not agree, fear is a good thing. It lets you try to prepare for whatever is coming, whether you are able to deal with it or not. Fear occurs when you are not in control of a situation, but still have to deal with it.

Listening To Music On The Move
Introduction I have had some issues with phones dying on me, using backup phones and eventually landing up with my Google Pixel 4XL. Since I got it I have not actually listened to any music on it even though I have some excellent wireless earphones/buds. I did load some music on for when I was going to use it but when I was walking I just didnβt bother listening to anything.
