Siblings are the only enemy you can't live without.
The Pretty Sister
Being the oldest of four children, I was ALWAYS made an example of, ALWAYS the first to be disciplined and of course, the first to seem like a disappointment to my parents. Don't get me wrong; I was a straight A student but I had a powerful urge for trouble. 'Sibling Rivalry' was more like a raging war in our house with the four of us in constant competition with one another. But there's ALWAYS the one that 'could do no wrong' and in my family it was my sister Marie.

The woman that inspires me is my twin sister.
The woman that inspires me is my twin sister and I’ll tell you why! My sister Kierra is a warrior, an endometriosis’s warrior, a fighter and advocate. Many women may know that March is Women's history month, but do they know that March is also Endometriosis awareness month? I didn’t either at one point. Until three years ago when my twin sister began experiencing unusual and painful symptoms before and around her menstrual cycle. Consequently, I can only hypothesize that a great majority of women don't know what endometriosis is or haven't heard of it yet. So if we are going to shine the spotlight on amazing women. Then let’s talk about something that has impacted us all, at one point or another. Our periods!

The Eternal Bond of Brother and Sister
I was born in a secluded village on a mountain. Day after day, my parents plowed the yellow dry soil with their backs towards the sky. One day, I wanted to buy a handkerchief, which all girls around me seemed to have. So, one day I stole 50 cents from my father’s drawer. Father discovered about the stolen money right away.

Pins and Needles
Timothy got up before his alarm went off on Monday morning. As usual, he began his day by grabbing the black shoebox from beneath his bed and pulling out a perfect silicone mask of his face and a small sewing kit. He carefully stitched on the mask, attaching the outer edges before focusing on securing the smile to his lips. His restless, drowsy eyes were transformed into bright, unconcerned ones. His drooping frown became a reassuring smile. His mom knocked at the door.

Superwoman?
Jessi was born into a fairly normal family: a mom, a dad, soon she had a little sister- me. Before Jessi turned seven, our mom died of cancer. Being a little girl without a mother is hard enough, but she also had me. I didn't realize growing up that she had inherited me as a responsibility, but she did. My dad was grieving and trying his best to find a way to stay home and provide for his two daughters, so my sister pretty much took over the roll of mother to me.
