Vegan Gluten-Free Black Bean Brownies!
First off, what does being vegan even anticipate? The word vegan initially defines a diet free of animal-based foods (such as meat, dairy products, eggs, and honey.) Nowadays, the word's definition refers to non-food products. But today, we are going to make Vegan Gluten-Free Black Bean Brownies. Black bean brownies (vegan and gluten-free) require one bowl and about 30 minutes to prepare! One of the best kinds of desserts.

Chocolate Vegan Decadence
For the longest time, I equated veganism with restriction. Deprivation. No butter? No eggs? No cheese? No taste! None of the deliciousness that makes life worth living. Why would anyone do that to themselves? And as a lifelong baker, and one with an admittedly massive sweet tooth, I couldn’t imagine making any baked good taste good without these oh-so-necessary ingredients. And you definitely couldn’t create dessert decadence without them.

You’ll Think It’s a Reese’s
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been a decade already! So, in 2011 I had the bright idea to go into business for myself, and not just any business. I wanted to open a cupcake shop. Now, as we all know a brick and mortar location is very expensive so I started out of my kitchen only advertising on Facebook.

Girls Gone Vegan
I grew up in one of the top “foodie” places in the WORLD! New Orleans, Louisiana! My aunts gave me ice cream to fix a cold and sprite and apple pie to heal my tummy ache. No wonder, I have loved sweets and treats and food, in general, my entire life.

From Thanksgiving to Every Special Occasion
"VEGAN GLUTEN FREE PECAN PIE" My dad and I being gluten free and sensitive to dairy has made my creative vegan-baker bulb flash above my head for years now. My most recent discovery and creation is my gluten free (GF) vegan, pecan pie!! It has somehow wormed its way into every holiday. Whenever I am manifesting a new recipe, I pull variations from multiple recipes from Pinterest to forge one of my own creations! And fair warning, I never use tablespoons and use household serving spoons or dessert spoons for my measurements! I tend to splash and dash things into the pie, so make your best judgement! *shrugging emoji*

One-Bowl Rhubarb Crisp. Top Story - May 2021.
Growing up in the rural Midwest, my family grew a lot of vegetables. Our garden, neat rows that easily spanned a quarter-acre, grew everything from tomatoes and potatoes to trellised grapes and row upon row of the sweetest corn imaginable. It was a lot of work, and as a kid, I’m not sure I appreciated many of the things my mother lovingly grew (and we begrudgingly weeded and harvested!).

Stunningly Decadent Vegan Layered Cake
This fluffy cake recipe takes me down memory lane, back to my childhood in Romania. In the area of Romania where I grew up, layered sheet cakes are the norm around holidays and special events. They can be cut in small bite-sized portions for guests and make for beautiful table additions for a large party.

Vegan Pancakes
Every Shrove Tuesday here in the UK millions of children look forward to the annual intake of pancakes, not the sort of pancakes that are eaten as a breakfast treat, but heavy stodgy pancakes designed to fill the empty belly and satisfy the hungry child.

A Sensational Vegan Pancake. A Chia Seed Vegan Pancake.
How can I ever forget Vegan Chia Seed Pancakes? These are some of the most scrumptious vegan breakfast items and can also be eaten for dessert. First off, what even is a Chia Seed? Chia seeds are the edible seeds of Salvia Hispanic, a flowering plant in the mint family native to central and southern Mexico, or of the related Salvia columbariae of the southwestern United States and Mexico. But how are Chia Seeds good for you? Chia seeds contain large amounts of fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, plenty of high-quality protein, and several essential minerals and antioxidants. They may improve digestive health, blood levels of heart-healthy omega-3s, and risk factors for heart disease and diabetes.
