Love, Lust, and Lies
Cassandra Knight, what are you doing with your life! She thought to herself as she stepped into the shower. She turned the water on full blast and started to wash away the scent of Daniel, with whom she had just spent a quick half hour fumbling around with. Daniel was a playboy, and not even a very good one. That was the second time she had seen him and, as far as she was concerned, the last. They met at work. Daniel was one of the managers there and had recently started pursuing Cassie not so subtly. Standing in the shower, almost disgusted by his smell, Cassie wondered if she had actually ever liked him. No, she thought, it was the thrill of the whole thing that attracted her. Suggestive emails and illicit meetings after work had excited her but now that initial thrill had gone she had no interest. Maybe it would have been different if he'd been a decent lover... but he wasn't. The sad thing was, Daniel had been her first; she hadn't told him that as she wanted to seem more experienced—she was 23 after all! A late starter some might say, but Cassie had a theory, which was that she had always been attracted to older guys and only know that she was maturing, had they started to take an interest in her. Whatever the reasoning behind it, the short affair with Daniel had awoken a new side to Cassie, a confident and alluring side that she was keen to explore. After that second meeting, she cut ties with Daniel and as luck would have it, he moved jobs soon after which saved any awkward experiences at work.

For You I Will - Chapter One
The love we shared was like straight out of fiction. I still wake up in the early hours of the morning, in a cold sweat, having dreamt of you. Your skin brushed up against mine and I was in heaven. Those are the best dreams, the ones where you're still here with me. It's the waking up that hits me like a ton of bricks. The sudden realization of your immediate absence. You've been away for so long now but every passing day is a constant reminder that life marches on. Life goes on without you whether I like it or not.

Pancake House
I’ve waited inside this small restaurant for about 15 minutes…a new discovery. It was hard to find, I had to come to this more obscure part of the city to get here. While I had accidentally found this place, I thought to myself that it was a really niche type of restaurant.

Banging of the Doors of Heaven
Four, five, six, seven, eight. The eighth floor was eerily dark, since it was to be a new wing and on a weekend. Construction workers wouldn't be there until Monday. I walked by one of the first rooms. It was pitch black. Creepy chills ran up my spine.
