first person shooter
In first-person shooter video games, it’s kill or be killed; discover the best and latest FPS games with storylines inspired by history, modern warfare, alien invasions and more.
'COD' Logic
I started playing video games at an early age. It was a time in my life where video games were straight to the point, pixilated, and most of the time if you didn’t play with your siblings, schoolmates, or family, you played alone. It was Square Enix, the developers behind the greatness that is Final Fantasy, that made me want to understand the creativity, beauty, and the art of video games. From there I had to play everything. After RPGs, I jumped to racing sims to platformers.

'SUPERHOT' Is Just That—Super Hot
It's the most innovative shooter I've played in years! If you've played the game, you both know how this statement is true, and a great reference. But it truly ranks up with Half-Life, Far Cry, Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines and System Shock 2 as one of the most powerful first person shooters ever programmed. If you haven't played the game, and are just looking at the picture above, you might ponder my intense enthusiasm for the new fps from Piotr Iwanicki. Let me explain. Is it bad I'm paranoid about getting excited about a product by a guy named Piotr because I don't want to be accused of Russian collusion?

Best PlayStation 4 Shooter Games to Play. Top Story - April 2018.
Blasting their way to the top wasn't an easy task, but these gaming titles make it look easy, and almost enjoyable. Sporting all-new amazing weaponry, and often allowing for some of the craziest in-game activities, these titles among the best PlayStation shooter games give a whole new meaning to action and adventure. They're also full of some interesting, and more or less controversial, topics that are even still debated to this day.

The Best Operators In 'Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege'
Popular tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege has lasted three years. Over this period, they’ve released 18 new operators (the character you play) to their original cast of 20, excluding Recruit (the basic soldier). Statistics pulled from pro-league play show that on average, three speed operators are the best—but is it the truth?

Top 5 Most Broken Overwatch Characters
With the recent release of xQc from the Dallas Fuel, it started reminding me of some of the choice comments he's made from his past live streams. And I will not be discussing the comments he made towards muma's sexuality, nor his false reporting tendencies, or generally the malicious nature his live streams sometimes goes through. Rather, his comments on Mercy being the most broken character in Activison's owned Blizzard entertainment game known as Overwatch. To which I will disagree. One part of an individual's kit can be overpowering at times, but regarding the rest of Mercy equipment; Mercy lacks a greater number of advantages. She poses a slow acting semi-automatic pistol shooting energy projectiles, the ability to fly towards her allies, resurrect an ally with a 30 second cool down (not reset after dying), a healing staff, then can activate her ultimate to fly and slightly buff her other abilities. Not that impressive. However, these characters tool kits are much more powerful and have shifted games too many times. Here are the (in my opinion) the top five most broken Overwatch characters.

Top 10 Hardest Overwatch Trophies
(I've written an updated version of this list which reflects my current thoughts more accurately so check that out). Overwatch is a fantastic multiplayer shooter that I would recommend even the most casual of gamers to try out. It's easy to learn but hard to master and this is reflected in its (currently) 70 trophies/achievements that are spread out over 26 heroes. For the sake of simplicity and the fact that I'm a PS4 player, I'm going to refer to them as trophies from now on.

So every FPS (first-person shooter) gamer has experienced death in their normal everyday video game, but how do you stop that death ratio from going up? It's easy! The secret to this is to focus. 'Overwatch' Is Not That Bad
The popular opinion about Overwatch, currently, is one of unpopularity. Sure, the Overwatch League looks grand, and the game is relatively fun to play, but it has glaring balance issues and the matchmaking system needs a lot of work. However, the Blizzard team has performed reasonably well given unfavorable circumstances, while managing to create possibly the ideal platform on which E-Sports can become globally legitimate.

QuakeCon 2017: Why Bethesda's 'Brink' Has Gone Free-to-Play
During QuakeCon 2017, while attention was shifted onto Bethesda's larger titles including Wolfenstien II: The New Colossus, The Evil Within II, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, and Quake Champions, something unexpected happened to one of the company's smaller titles. Brink somehow managed to come back to life as the publisher lowered its price to free without saying a word.
