‘The Omen’ and Harry Spencer Stephens 50 years later
The Omen was an American/British horror film released in theaters in June 1976 and turns 50 this year. The movie received mixed reviews from critics but was a box office hit, grossing more than 60 million in the United States, and was named one of the top movies of that year. Harvey Spencer Stephens portrayed demon seed child Damien Thorne, who was believed to be the Antichrist.
