The Ongoing World War
Africa is the birthplace of nations and the world with the earliest civilizations starting there. And the first people coming from there. Africa has been regarded as a motherland. Rich with resources such as gold and diamonds and known for its contribution to the present economy. Its people rich with cultural identities with over 50 different languages and hundreds of tribes. Africa still is a centerpiece on the world's peace table. Peace in Africa and prosperity in Africa means a stable future for the world. We must realize that Africa harnessed the power of the world with its resources and can be an effective barter of trade in goods for many nations on multiple continents.

Living with a Deadly Virus
It's been eleven months, and yet, this pandemic hasn't gotten amy better, it's gotten a whole lot worse. Hospitals and doctors are overworked, experiencing anxiety, and some even are experiencing bouts of depression. Meanwhile, dozens of Americans are scrambling trying to make ends meat to pay their bills, put food on the table, and provide for their families.

People
Some people are really rude on twitter. They may not know it but that's how they made me feel. I was just posting my opinion about how there have been so many senseless things that happened such as people who are against wearing masks, anti-science, stabbing at rallies and that the Nashville bombing was another senseless act. Then, I got a comment from this person who wrote that the left have been rioting all year long, causing billions in damages and that I am an ignorant fool. It sounded rather demeaning to me and hurt my feelings. It honestly just ruined my mood for the rest of the day. S/he may not even think much of what s/he did which is rather inconsiderate and self-centered. For all the time that I've been on twitter, I have never acted that way to another person. It was so mean and unfriendly. I felt like I was being attacked as an ignorant fool and I haven't been feeling good about it since. So, I've blocked this person. But I still don't feel good about it. It was just really rude and unfriendly. Many people are just really mean and unkind in America. They are selfish, fascist, unkind, senseless and anti-science too... All the bad things combined. I don't like to deal with people like that because I don't need to feel bad about myself.

The Past We Can't Escape
I cannot watch anything that portrays what life was like for black people in the past. Not because I don’t want to understand it or because it breaks my heart; but because of the raw rage I feel inside every, single, time. It’s a burning ache that rotates violently, end over end, in my chest each time I see tears on a black face, scars on black skin, and ESPECIALLY the look of unadulterated disgust portrayed on white faces. I’m afraid of that rage because it calls for more than justice. It calls for revenge: blood for blood, an eye for an eye, a life for another. It’s a very primal urge that feels a little too right at times. My soul sings for a revolution; even when I know the truth behind such a word. Real revolution means senseless violence and devastation. It means newly orphaned children, unworthy martyrs, and cities brought down to their iron knees. It would mean a chance to start building a new America, but with the same old bruises that never heal because we never learned. Just another war America would have to go through because we didn’t have the common sense or patience to communicate with each other.

My Skin Color
If I am reading American and world history correctly, I see a world shaped greatly by the harm caused by people who look like me. In my own country, I see lynchings, exclusionary acts, separate but equal policies, slavery, internment, genocide, chemical castration, xenophobia, and nationalism. Looking more broadly across the globe, I see colonialism, eugenics, anti-Semitism, the Holocaust, Apartheid, and much more.

Terrorism and Islam
Terrorism has been among the most discussed issues in the world. Terrorist-associated bombings and brutal killings have been experienced for many years, which have consequently led to strong feelings of hostility and fear towards terrorism among the general population. In many cases, the public has closely associated terrorism with Islam. In a recent incident of Boston bombings the suspect was in many cases described as a devout Muslim who prayed five times a day. In Logan International Airport, Boston, two men were removed from a plane by the rest of passengers when they overheard those two conversing in Arabic. Many people take Islam as terrorist religion and Muslims have often faced segregation and discrimination in working and social places. As they interrelate the two, they completely disregard personalities of terrorists. They also disregard the fact that there are many serial killers that are not Muslim, yet their actions have never related to their religion. Many people who associate themselves with Islam might have been the followers of this religion, but this does not guarantee the fact that their personal motives are fueled by their religion.
