Thrift Shopping 101
My friends and family know not to even ask, "Where'd you get your outfit?" because my answer is always... the thrift store! Just know that 99% of the time, I'm wearing at least one piece of thrifted clothing or accessory. I get asked all the time how I snag good finds, so I put together a list of tips that I follow in order to add some cute/cheap clothes to my wardrobe and my eBay page!

The Different Ways to Smoke Weed
Let's start with something everyone will know even if they don't use it. The joint, a classic, has been a favorite among older smokers who do not have the lungs for anything. It is well balanced, can be slow on the uptake but it is still effective, and great for one or two person/s. People say that this and the blunt waste smoke and while yes it can if you are by yourself, with that said the more people, the less wasted. Speaking of blunts I think it would be good to segue into that topic.

THC + Alcohol
We are all eating healthier and reading the labels on our boxed food. Some of us are swapping juice for water and reconsidering the medicines that we swallow every day but there is a community of people out there who are also changing up the ingredients in their alcoholic beverages. Yes, you can now experience marijuana cocktails. This can be done in a number of ways, ranging from drinks with only CBD additives to full on THC concoctions.

The Art of Thrift-Shopping. Top Story - October 2018.
Patience, Patience, Patience The first tip I can give is to go into your thrifting adventure with an open mind, and with the patience of a zen Buddha. Thrifting has a lot of misses, many more misses than hits if we are being honest. You probably won't find that amazing pair of Miu Miu heels in your size at the first Goodwill you step into. You probably won't find any Miu Miu at any Goodwill, like, ever. That being said once in a while you will find that "I can't believe this is $12.00" hidden treasure, and it will make everything worth it.

Mood Joint: A Rolling Method for Every Mood
Half-Centimeter Wide Spliff Contemplative times call for slim spliffs. You roll half-centimeter wide spliffs for when you want to sit outside your suburban living quarters in search of a tiny, quiet escape. A puff is enough of a rush to send you into a dizzy. An electric shock pulsating through every tiny pore of your being moves from the center of your chest and out. Then, a small pain. A state of anguish just enough to make you feel, but also enough to make you mildly euphoric. Thoughts fill your head, theories, as the sound of crickets crowds your ears and the smell of laundry detergent, April Fresh scented, comes wafting by via the newborn Spring night breeze. The only light illuminating you is the street lamp forty-five degrees northwest above your driveway, you making up words out of your license plate: five year debate, 5YRDB8. You think enough to want to write.

NYFW Favs and Trends
I know I’m late to write on NYFW, but bear with me, rather than reporting on the looks as they come out a la Instagram style, I like to simmer in the content and attempt to look at the week as a whole with an aerial view perspective. After just a couple days into NYFW, I already spotted some trends – Western wear perseveres, fringe has gotten a chic update, sheer silhouettes are shining through, ruffles continue to make waves, animal print is having its moment, Tevas are cool now (some would argue that they always have been), and moisturized takes on a whole new meaning.
